Privacy

What the waitlist keeps about you, why, and how to have it removed.

What is kept

• The email address you give.
• When you joined, and the IP address and browser you joined from. This is the record that you asked to be on the list, and it is how one address is stopped from signing up many times.
• Your answers to the five questions, if you give any.
• The campaign or referral code in the link that brought you here, if it had one.

What it is used for

To choose which authors are invited first, to understand what authors who sell direct need, and to email you about your place on the list. It is not sold, shared or used for advertising.

What this site does not do

It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies’ servers.

Where it is kept

In a Postgres database hosted by Neon, reached through this site, which is hosted by Vercel.

Having it removed

Ask, from the address you joined with, and everything above is deleted.
